Broker's Comments

The Storm has always been one of my favourite Westerlys. Her lines are nicely balanced and she looks fast. She has a bullet-proof masthead rig, managed by substantial deck gear. I particularly like the way the big drum-sized winches are mounted well inboard, to help avoid that precarious just-hanging-on feeling that you get when cranking on a down-hill pointing winch on the edge of the coaming, which is what you get with most yachts with pretentions towards a bit of speed. The cockpit is deep and well laid out, with a decently high bridge-deck up to the companionway. (The missing cockpit sole grille is only temporarily absent.)Down below is the usual quality Westerly fit-out with acres of wood and plentiful storage everywhere. This example appears to have been well looked after, and is conservatively priced relative to her condition.
