Broker's Comments
UPDATE: The owners will consider all offers. Their circumstances have changed and the boat needs to be sold! July 2023 - A full survey was carried out and any major recommendations were completed including significant re-planking using 316 Stainless Steel bolts. Reduced from 2.6 million Euros. All offers considered!
This beautiful wooden classic gentleman's yacht was being renovated and refurbished to the highest standard but personal circumstances mean the owners want to sell the boat unfinished. The hull and superstructure refit has been completed including 17mm teak decks. The hull will be primed and antifouled. The topsides and superstructure require paint finishing. The final interior fit-out could be decided by a potential purchaser but many high-quality installations have already taken place including a new well equipped professional galley, new engines, commercial-grade safety equipment and some electronics including new Raymarine GlassBridge units. The ship has an interesting history and is believed to have been built and commissioned for Marshal Tito in 1967 and already had major refits in 1992 and 1998 and then again since 2002 where most of the hull has been replaced and considerable quality woodwork has been installed and laid to the decks. Structurally renovated to the highest standard by professionals. A blank canvas with updated mechanics and electronics ready to refit internally and paint to the new owners requirements. Perhaps a luxury Gentlemans Yacht, a charter business, a floating hotel or even a fine dining restaurant. A true find and one opportunity not to be missed. Shipbuilders onsite!
