Broker's Comments

This very special yacht was built to Lloyds 100 A1 classification, and her plans are held by the "Mystic Seaport Museum" in Connecticut USA. Originally built for an American gentleman she is a scaled down version of the, built for ocean racing, 77' Barloventto 2 and has under her mast a Silver Dollar amongst other coins collected during several circumnavigations.
Apart from her build quality and classic good looks it is all the small things, that you don"t see on modern yachts, that make her so special, from the gimbaled saloon table with removable fiddles and the separate drinking water tank to the
writing bureau and saloon blinds with teak wood slats and much much more.
Unfortunately the standard of my photography is no match for the Philip Rhodes Design work nor Abeking & Rasmussen's build quality and the pictures do not do her justice. A beautiful yacht much admired and ready to sail away.
She has just had an electric halyard / reefing winch fitted and will have all new spectra running rigging on the main mast.
