Broker's Comments

Here we have a project Broom Capricorn speed boat with a V8 engine. The boat has been owned for many years by the vendor but following one partner passing away the boat has been left and not looked at.

The boat was put back into service a few years back but the flywheel on the engine needs changing as the starter teeth wont mesh to turn the motor over, however, the motor ran fine and the boat was driven on the river several time 2-3 years back. The vendor has no interest in fixing the boat so this piece of Norfolk boat building history is going as a project very cheaply. The Boatyard where she is stored feel that she just needs the flywheel replacing and tidying up and refitting the sets and engine cover which are all with the boat.

There is no trailer with the boat but she is otherwise intact and complete to my view when I took the pictures.

She has been kept under cover all her life so with a good clean and polish and some tlc you would have a 40knot speed boat and a classic vessel at your command.

These boat details are subject to contract.

This Broom Capricorn has been personally photographed and viewed by Stephen Biggs of Boatshed Norfolk. Click here for contact details.
