This Bill Dixon designed Taswell 43 is owned by an Airline pilot and has been maintained and equipped like an Aeroplane , with an emphasis on safety.
She is presently on the hard for maintainance but will soon be re launched with a freshly painted bottom, hull polished, new cutlass bearing, autoprop overhauled, new shaftlog bellows(PYI Dripless), new teak on swim platform boarding ladder, new teak decks, new cockpit seats, new cockpit folding table, new covers for cockpit helm, winches, wheel, etc, new teak transom seats, new paint on coach roof, all deck brightwork professionally re varnished, mast & all spars stripped / refurbished and repainted, new standing rigging & chain Plates, new halyards, all winches overhauled / bearing replaced / cleaned & lubricated, new perspex in the hatches & port lights, new companionway cover glass & slides, companionway steps refurbished & new treads / re-re varnished, new saloon upholstery, new DVD player, and new bimini, dodger & awnings. She is only for sale because the owners are retiring to Belize where in their words "there are too many reefs and too much skinny water for her 2m draft".
The safe center cockpit design, all roller furling sails and well equipped, comfortable air conditioned interior make for easy handling and relaxed comfortable passages.
