Hull : One piece heavy molded fiberglass hull using polyester resin, Ferro (USA) gel coat and built to A.B.S. and Lloyds standards, hull is1/2" thickness at deck; 3/4" at waterline and1-1/8" thick at keel.
Deck: One piece molded F.R.P deck with 8" bulwarks forward of the poop deck. The deck is bolted through integral glass hull flange with S.S. bolts and sealed with Dupont sealant.
Keel: 12,000Lbs cast iron encapsulated in hull and glassed over.
The thicker than usual layup of this boat means she is nearly 4,000 kg heavier than the standard Vagabond 47.
Water tank capacity is 1200l total, in 4 unequal size tanks.
